The B.E.S.T. program is one of Alberta's Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB)
In-School Initiatives. B.E.S.T. is managed and funded through Alberta Health Services
and works within the Grande Yellowhead Public School Division. It provides universal mental health programming to the schools and communities we are proud to be in. It strives to promote positive mental health, in which the Public Health Agency of Canada defines as "the capacity to feel, think and act in ways that enhance our ability to enjoy life and deal with the challenges we face".
B.E.S.T. programming may look very different in each community and school as it is based on the needs, resources, and the Wellness Coach's individual skill sets. To learn more about what the B.E.S.T. program, click the "About Us" tab at the top of the page!
